Service Expectations:
Prior to Closing
My Home Solution provides the Builder’s One-Year Limited Warranty and Limited Warranty Standards document establishing written warranty terms and conditions based upon standards and procedures nationally adopted by Homebuilding Industry.
(Please Note: In some cases our Builder’s prefer to use their own document based upon the same standards. Check with your Builder to ensure you have the correct document).
- My Home Solution conducts an independent Quality Assurance Walkthrough of your home prior to your New Home Orientation ensuring the quality and completion of your new home.
- My Home Solution provides a New Home Orientation Guide setting expectations and guidelines prior to your New Home Orientation.
- My Home Solution conducts your New Home Orientation without the external pressure from your Builder or their internal representative.
- The New Home Orientation includes a thorough review of your homes operating systems, preventative maintenance recommendations; warranty claims submission procedures, emergency service and more.
- The Orientation includes an inspection of your home and the generation of a Builder Completion List noting items in need of attention prior to closing.
During Closing
At the conclusion of your New Home Orientation, My Home Solution will schedule a Closing Walkthrough that will take place either the day before or the day of your home closing. The Closing Walkthrough is a review of the Builder Completion List insuring that items in need of attention have been satisfactorily resolved. This process insures the satisfactory completion of your new home and establishes a strong foundation to successful home ownership.
In the event open items remain, these items are noted on a Completion Item document signed by both the Homebuyer and your Builder as their commitment to the final completion of your new home.
After the Purchase of Your Home
My Home Solution provides each Homeowner with a single source of contact for all questions, concerns and warranty needs during the Builder’s One-Year Limited Warranty period.
